My Current Story
It took me a while to work out that I should be a cyclist. Regardless, I started in April 2006 with a strong focus on Track Sprinting. Since November 2007 I have concentrated on Road and Track Endurance as it is now clear this is where my cycling future lies. March 2008 I reduced my working hours to focus more on my training and recovery.
The remainder of 2008 was built around establishing base kms, competing at the Australian National Road Series Events and gained some international racing experience for 8 weeks in the USA. I finished 2nd overall in the Australian National Women’s Individual Road Series.
After a broken arm injury set back most of my 2008/9 Australian Summer goals, I have re-focused with attendance at National training camps. Mid-year I raced in Northern America/Canada with the Australian National Women’s Road Team and UCI Track Team; Verducci Breakaway.
